1. Safety instructions

When mounting, initiating and operating these transmitters

it is important to observe the respective national safety

precautions and regulations in eect (e.g. VDE 100).

Nonobservance of the applicable regulations may cause

severe injury to persons or damage to equipment. Only sta

with suitable qualication should work with these transmitters.

Before initial operation check the suitability for the intended application.

In particular, it is important to fulll the ambient and operation conditions

as specied in the WIKA data sheet TE 19.03. Use only congured

transmitters.

This equipment is intended for operation with low voltages,

which are separated from the power supply or voltages of

greater than AC 50 V or DC 120 V. Preferably, a connection to

an SELV circuit is recommended, or alternatively to circuits

with a dierent protective measure in accordance with

IEC 60364-4-41.

Alternatively for North America:

The connection can be made in line with “Class 2 Circuits”

or “Class 2 Power Units” in accordance with CEC (Canadian

Electrical Code) or NEC (National Electrical Code).
