In order to switch the instrument into "SWITCH-TEST" mode, follow the instructions on

the previous page.

The switch-test function is not suitable for electronic switches (e.g.

PNP- or NPN switches), but is only for mechanical, potential-free

switches.

The following is a more detailed explanation of point "2. Preparation for SWITCH-

TEST"

a) Voltage supply for test item (on/o) [If no external supply is required for the

test item, "OFF" should be selected to conserve energy]

b) Unit and resolution (submenu)

7. Commissioning, operation

The calculated measured values of the two switching points and the

hysteresis can be reset by pressing the "0" key.
